Concept: With the development of the period, newspapers, magazines, advertisements, TV, movies and other media transmit information in metaphor or literality. It is an information era today, in which we live with information explosion. We are surrounded by the information flood.Information era brings us amount of data beyond our imagination. Innumerable information drives us crazy in every aspect of our life.

         This research studies one of the Four Chinese Classical Novels-- out Laws of the Marsh in information design. The research design gives an example solution which makes the information clear at a glance. The visualization enables people find the theme runs through the materials while acquire the information in total. The example shows that the information design is significant in communication. Also, the information design offers different aspects (visual and acoustic) while approaching the information.

          The middle part includes all 72 chapters. When users click a certain chapter, there appear all the characters in the chapter. Users could also distinguish the significance among the characters by the circle size. The yellow words indicate the chapters in which the characters show. There are images of the characters besides which help users locate.
